Experience is a major factor from the earliest design phrase. Having got a bike into the shop, the basics are evaluated. Starting with the critical dimensions of the engine, bore, stoke, value size, carbies, cam timing, and even the redline, the initial primary pipe dimensions are established.

Over twenty years of experience building motorcycle exhausts makes all the difference - we then scrutinize the collector lengths, secondary pipe size and muffler. This may all sound easy - we probably make 30 or so combinations for most models on average and dyno them all before we're satisfied that we've made the best motorcycle exhaust system that we can.
